How do I transfer my domain name from my old host to JVMHost?

If you are looking to transfer your domain name you currently have hosted or registered elsewhere to jvmhost.com, simply select 'I want to transfer my domain to JVM Host' when you sign up with JVMHost and enter the domain you are transferring. Then once you receive your order confirmation email from us, you can point your nameservers to us. You will be asked to enter EPP Code (Auth Code) which is required for transferring some top level domains.

You can get EPP code from you current Registrar (the company you bought your domain name or hosting and domain from) control panel. Also make sure your domain is unlocked at your current registrar for the transfer to succeed. After the transfer completes we will setup your domain nameservers to:

ns1.nodecluster.net
ns2.nodecluster.net

Alternatively most registrars allow you to make the changes (set our nameservers in their control panel) by yourself and 24 to 48 hours later the domain name will be pointing to your jvmhost.com account. Maybe check for the original email from your registrar from when you first bought the domain name, this usually contains the information needed to change the name servers as well, or just give them a call.

If you have any doubts do not hesitate to reach us on the live chat or drop us an email.

If you already have an account with us and want to transfer in an addtional domain please use this link

Before you start the transfer get EPP/auth code from your current registrar and unblock the domain. It can be done in your current registar control panel.
